The installation starts working when the collector heats so much that its temperature is higher than of the water accumulated in the storage tank or the buffer tank. The energy passes from the collector, heating up the water in the buffer tank, which serves the inhabitants as heating or as hot water. The excess of the water heated in the buffer tank is directed to the storage tank. The energy obtained in such a way has to cover more than 50% of the annual demand.
